International Yog festival was one of its kind gathering on the seashore that brought together yog lovers in Goa, showcased the true nature of Goan culture and created awareness of the importance of Yog. Women performed “Mahayagya” and demonstrations of Yoga Sadhana on this occasion. Thousands of participants from India and abroad attended the event. Yoga classes are now held on beaches to promote a healthy yogic lifestyle.
The mega event “Jai Goa” was organized to unite Goan scholars from different domains under one roof under the guidance of Pujya Swamiji. Thousands of temples in Goa are a true Goan heritage through which the great Goan traditional and cultural practices are being practiced today. Pujya Swamiji highlighted this thought and the organization brought all these temple representatives on one platform for necessary guidance by organizing “Divya Devasthan Sabha”. Various disputes among the temple administrators were resolved through this approach; all temple heads today consider the organization and Pujya Swamiji as the only wise spiritual advisor for various spiritual and administrative practices. These temples are now turning into knowledge hubs where Sanskrit, pooja, yoga, sangeet education is taught to the masses through trained acharyas.
